As I moved to a FTE position, and was able to lean into learning new skills, I quickly found my passion around designing & implementing performance management learning infrastructure again. It is an area I feel comfortable doing as my previous work experiences centered around it. I dabbled a bit in redesigning hybrid onboarding experiences for the AMER region. I also leaned into my love of process implementation, and I quickly became known on the team as the go-to for process improvements, including including QA, OKR based goals & KPIs, and intake requests. I also flexed my Leadership Skills by running a 1,000+ ERG, aligning our interests with company initiatives, and working with two C-Suite leaders, and was even asked by two colleagues to mentor them in their roles.
This consulting position focused on encouraging learners to take learning courses versus required training or compliance content from my previous work. Moving strictly to eLearnings and virtual assets, my focus moved towards learner engagement, bulking up my graphic design experience, while project managing my work. The majority to developed had a Learning & Enablement focus around Sales and Product learning. In addition, I've moved into helping provide insight into time-saving team processes and creating experiential learning programs for our internal business partners.
I moved to the Bay Area to re-enter the Learning Design world. I contracted with a company focused on a structured learning design method to enforce the federal and state regulations their employees were required to abide by.

I moved back to the United States and settled into working in the non-profit world, where I learned how to maximize what we had (which was not a lot) in order to best serve the needs of our clients. I worked my way up to a project manager with two direct reports and seven volunteers, and left the organization with a fully-developed training program with a detailed job manual, multiple graphical assets, and equitable hiring practices.

In South Korea, I started as an SAT instructor before moving into Business English. I worked as both an Instructional Designer/Learning Facilitator, implementing my own lesson plans/courses and obtaining immediate feedback. This was my first experience working in the corporate world, but not the last. The immediate feedback I was provided allowed me to incorporate changes into improved versions. I quickly moved up to be an SID, Head Trainer, and Program Manager.

Working at an after school non-profit exposed me to the drive to create quality and compelling learning content that had to engage high school students. I didn't know it at the time, but this was the driving force behind my future career, combining my love for both Instructional & Learning Design and non-profit.
