Despite employee interest in mentorship, connecting with potential mentors within the company proved challenging. While the existing internal program offered valuable resources and tracking tools, it lacked effective mechanisms for initiating and fostering meaningful mentor-mentee relationships.
Designed and implemented a 90-day pilot program focused on facilitating mentorship connections within two distinct business functions. Key components included:
Learning & informational sessions (e.g., "Finding Your Mentor", executive Q&A sessions)
Supplemental resources (dedicated Slack channel, intranet hub, office hours)
Robust communication plan to generate excitement and drive participation.
Successfully engaged 90 participants in the dedicated Slack channel and 45-60 participants in learning sessions.
Increased the number of meaningful mentorship connections formed within the participating business functions, boosting moral in each group and encouraging personal development growth.
